1. How do I start ABA therapy?
Just let us know what services you’re interested in, and our team will guide you step by step through the application process.
2. Does my insurance cover ABA therapy?
Many insurance plans cover ABA services. Most will require a doctor’s prescription stating ABA is medically necessary, and some may ask for additional paperwork. If you’re unsure, our staff will help you check your benefits and guide you through the process.
3. What if I’m using Florida Medicaid?
To begin ABA therapy with Medicaid, you will need a prescription for ABA services from a Medicaid-approved doctor, along with a Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluation from a qualified professional such as a developmental pediatrician, child neurologist, psychologist, or psychiatrist. The evaluation includes developmental testing, medical screenings, and a written report with a diagnosis. These documents are required by Medicaid before services can start.
Once we receive your referral, consent forms, and required documents, our team will review them carefully. If anything is missing, we will contact you. When everything is complete, we will move forward with the authorization so your child can begin services.
